AN ANNUAL EVENT FOR Children & Families

This is a playful photoshoot for kids where we create an engaging experience so kids and families can pose authentically! I want to provide parents meaningful portraits of their children to enjoy for all of time.
Booking Fee: $550
(The session fee is $150 with a $400 retainer to use toward your product order)
Includes a playful 30* minute session and a retainer. No products or images are included in your booking fee, however your $400 retainer can be used toward your product purchase (products consist of prints, albums and digital images)
*The length of the session will depend on the child and their willingness to be photographed and could be anywhere form 15 to 40 minutes long. It may take some children a few minutes to warm up and some children might want to quit early. I’ll follow the child’s lead to give them the time they need and won’t push them if I was able to capture what I needed and they’ve had enough.

What to wear
• Dress it up a little! Even if you’re wearing jeans and going barefoot pay attention to accessories like belts, watches, jewelry, makeup, hats and layered clothing. Just make sure the details won’t bother or distract your child.
• Instead of wearing a standard T-shirt look for something that has texture or a design in the neckline/sleeves (scalloped neckline, lace, woven pattern, ruffled sleeve etc).
• Solid colors or bold patterns are both great choices. Avoid words, graphics, and small/busy patterns.
• The most important thing to consider is comfort! Avoid itchy or uncomfortable clothing. Sensitivities can become heightened from the experience of being photographed in a new environment with flashing lights. We want to make sure that clothing is not something that detracts from their ability to adjust to the environment and engage in the photoshoot.
Hairstyle TIPS
• Keep hair away from the face! Style your child’s hair so that their entire face is visible when they turn to either side. If their hair falls in front of their face at all please pin, clip or gel it back. This will make it much easier to capture a wider variety of images without having to constantly adjust their hair and keep them still. If your child cannot tolerate their hair being styled in a way that keeps it out of their face then please just bring them as they are. While it may reduce the amount of usable images I’ll be able to capture, it is better to keep your child comfortable so I can capture their genuine self.
Sensory Friendly
These sessions are great for all children including those with sensory needs. I want EVERY parent to have captivating images of their child and will work hard to adapt the experience based on the child’s individual needs and work with families to create the best experience for their child. I strive to create an understanding environment where parents feel supported and children can feel comfortable. I have years of experience in photographing children and am sensitive to their unique ways of navigating a photography experience.
Additional Info
Kids will be photographed individually in order to get personality packed portraits! Multiple children in the same immediate family are welcome to share a session and split the time. At the end of the session we can capture any sibling or families groupings you’d like to include.

Sessions are held at my in home studio in North East Gilbert, Arizona. You’ll be provided with the exact address after you’ve booked for your session.
