SEssion Information

Background Options

I use studio lighting with a neutral gray backdrop for all of my corporate headshots and group shots. This setup provides a clean professional image that works well for websites, business cards and marketing. You are welcome to choose a different set up but please know doing so will affect the session fee and/or the time we schedule your session. If you would prefer a different color or would like to forgo a backdrop and use the environment as the background then please let me know and I can give you that information.

Shooting Space

I'll need sufficient space to set up my backdrop and lights. My backdrop and stands will need at least 13 feet side to side and I'll need at least 10 feet of space in front of the backdrop to set up my lights and camera. If setting up outdoors the area will need to be completely covered in even shade. I am happy to choose the best space to set up when I come for the session. If your location does not have enough space for me to set up a studio then you are welcome to schedule your headshots at my in-home studio in North East Gilbert near Recker & Guadalupe.

Turnaround Time

You'll be emailed a google drive link with the final images within 2 weeks of your session.

Clothing Suggestions:

Please let those being photographed know to wear solid colors (nothing busy, high contrasting, or distracting) and long sleeves. This will keep the images looking professional, non distracting, uniform, and classy.

Your use of color will greatly affect the finished image. While the backdrop is very neutral which makes the colors you wear really pop. You can use color to give your images personality and can even include your branding. If you choose to not include color in your image then I suggest wearing dark colors such as black or navy blue. Darker colors help draw the viewer’s eye to the faces in the image.

If you wear makeup consider applying a little more than your daily wear. Lipstick in particular can really help bring definition and color into your face and help you avoid looking washed out.
